Former WWE Co-CEO Stephanie McMahon recently opened up about a tattoo she nearly got during her younger years — one that would have permanently tied her to WWE’s past identity.
Speaking on her What’s Your Story? podcast, McMahon revealed she once considered getting a tattoo of the original WWF logo — the emblem of the World Wrestling Federation, which later became World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) following a name change in 2002.
“When I was younger, I wanted a tattoo and I was going to get the WWF logo,” she said. “Thank God I didn’t do that. I’d be like a walking billboard if I had all the different logos that have evolved over time. I’m tatted on the inside.”
McMahon, a lifelong part of the wrestling industry and daughter of longtime WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, ultimately decided against the tattoo. Despite that, she admitted the idea of inking her body has resurfaced over the years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she even contemplated getting a tattoo to honor her three daughters, but opted against it due to concerns over how her body might react.
While she remains ink-free, Stephanie McMahon’s loyalty to WWE has never been in doubt. After serving in various executive roles throughout the years — including as Chief Brand Officer and later Co-CEO alongside Nick Khan — McMahon stepped down in early 2024 following her father’s return to the company.
Although no longer holding an official position, Stephanie McMahon still makes occasional appearances at WWE events, including being spotted at WrestleMania and sitting ringside during high-profile matches.
Her story adds a personal layer to the broader conversation about tattoos in professional wrestling, where body art has become a symbol of character and legacy — from The Rock’s Brahma Bull to CM Punk’s Pepsi logo.
