2025 continues to be a milestone year for Rasha Thadani, daughter of Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon. After making her silver screen debut in the film Azaad, Rasha has now added another personal first to her list — her first tattoo.
Over the weekend, Rasha joined the ranks of inked celebrities, opting for a symbolic design featuring a butterfly with a trishul (trident) at its center, tattooed on the nape of her neck. The inspiration, she revealed, came from her mother, who herself is no stranger to body art.
In a now-viral video capturing the tattooing process, Rasha is seen being comforted and supported by her mother. “Yeah, definitely my mother’s comfort with getting tattoos has inspired me. But I’ve always wanted one,” she shared during the session.
Raveena Tandon, known for her expressive body art, has a scorpion tattoo over her heart, her children’s names inked on her back, and paw prints dedicated to “all the four-legged magnificent creatures of this planet.”
According to reports, Rasha’s butterfly tattoo is a heartfelt tribute to the warmth, love, and unwavering support she has received from her mother.
In another notable development over the weekend, the Tandon-Thadani household welcomed a new member — a rescued black dog, whom Raveena has named Azaad, echoing the title of Rasha’s debut film. Interestingly, the film’s title itself was inspired by a striking black horse featured in the movie.
Rasha reshared a video originally posted by the NGO from which Azaad was adopted. The caption read:
“AZAAD ADOPTED: He was raised as Sultan by his previous owner but had to leave his kingdom. Today he has his own. He’s blessed. Thank you @officialraveenatandon and @livinitupwithlucifer for adopting our boy and giving him this beautiful life. In gratitude.”
The video features Raveena playing joyfully with Azaad and her German Shepherd, Elsa — another rescued pet she adopted after it was abandoned.
As Rasha continues to make her mark in the industry, it’s clear that her journey is rooted in strong family bonds and a deep sense of compassion, traits she proudly shares with her mother.
