The second annual Hel’s Fury tattoo festival wrapped up this weekend at Brewhalla, drawing crowds of ink enthusiasts and over 80 tattoo artists from across the country.
With booths from standout local studios like Amarok and Zoltar Tattoo, and guest artists traveling from as far as Colorado and Georgia, the event buzzed with energy, creativity, and nonstop buzzing machines.
Hosted in partnership with Drekker Brewing Company, the festival’s unique fusion of art, beer, and eccentric vibes has cemented its place as a fan-favorite. According to Alex Deane, events coordinator at Brewhalla, Hel’s Fury is the perfect match for their unconventional and community-first brand.
“I think it was really kismet,” said Deane. “We love hosting things for the community, and we love anything wacky and weird and wild — and this definitely fits the bill for all of that.”
Deane also confirmed that planning is already underway for a third installment, with discussions focused on expanding the festival and building on its growing momentum.
Among the highlights were the tattoo contests, where attendees could show off both fresh and healed pieces for a chance to take home custom trophies — and bragging rights.
The event has quickly become a cultural hotspot for tattoo lovers in the Midwest and beyond, offering a dynamic mix of artistry, competition, and celebration of self-expression.
