In a city where fandom knows no bounds, one Philadelphia Eagles supporter has taken admiration for former center Jason Kelce to a whole new level — by getting a provocative tattoo of the retired NFL star.
The tattoo, which depicts Kelce nude in a cheeky pin-up style pose, has sparked both laughter and disbelief across social media. The piece was inked by Joe the Wizard, a tattoo artist at The Pale Horse Tattoo Studio in the Kensington/Norris Square neighborhood of Philadelphia.
Sharing the bold artwork online, Joe the Wizard drew widespread reactions — including from Kelce himself.
“I’m not sure if I should be offended or flattered,” Kelce posted on X, formerly Twitter. The 37-year-old added a second, more amused remark: “I think it’s more flattered, it’s a generous bird, good sized head.”
The tattoo features a stylized, suggestive rendering of Kelce accompanied by an eagle motif — and drew comparisons to both pop star Sabrina Carpenter’s recent poses and George Costanza’s infamous pin-up photo from Seinfeld.
Kelce’s wife, Kylie, joined the online conversation with a mix of humor and disbelief, posting: “Excuse me???” with a shocked emoji.
The viral moment also caught the attention of the New Heights podcast, which Kelce co-hosts with his brother and fellow NFL star Travis Kelce. The show’s official account praised the artwork with the declaration: “This. Is. Art.”
Since retiring from the NFL in March 2024 after 13 seasons with the Eagles, Jason Kelce has embraced a busy post-football life. A seven-time Pro Bowler and beloved Philadelphia figure, he has transitioned into broadcasting as an analyst for ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown and continues co-hosting New Heights.
He’s also a co-owner of Garage Beer, a brewing company that didn’t miss the opportunity to tap into the buzz — teasing that they might just turn Kelce’s tattoo tribute into a new brew.
