The Pekin Police Department is actively searching for a man accused of aggravated assault with a firearm after he allegedly pointed a gun at a homeowner during a heated exchange.
According to a police report, the incident occurred in the 1300 block of South 13th Street, where officers responded to a call about a man brandishing a weapon. The homeowner told officers that he confronted an individual found in his yard, and during their argument, the suspect reportedly pulled a gun from his waistband and aimed it at the homeowner before fleeing the scene on foot.
Authorities have identified the suspect as Brad Denham, who is now a person of interest in the ongoing investigation. Denham is described as being approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and is notably identifiable by a prominent neck tattoo that reads “loyal.”
Anyone with information about Denham’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Pekin Police Department immediately. Officials warn the public not to approach him, as he may be armed and dangerous.
