A shocking new video has revealed the terrifying consequences of eyeball tattooing after an OnlyFans model nearly lost her eye following a botched procedure. Mary Magdalene, who is known for her extreme body modifications, attempted to tattoo her right eye a bright neon yellow to enhance her look as a “mutant hybrid apocalyptic otherworldly goddess.” However, things went terribly wrong.
Magdalene, whose real name is Denise, already had her left eye tattooed black, but the new procedure quickly turned into a nightmare. Hours after the tattoo, the yellow ink began to clump near her tear duct and seep into her lower eyelids. “There’s a big clump in the corner that isn’t spreading—it’s like it’s stuck there,” Denise said in a TikTok video, which has garnered over 102,000 views. “It’s completely bruised and bloodshot.”
She described waking up with severe light sensitivity in both eyes and struggled to see clearly. “I don’t want them to amputate my eye for no reason,” she added. “But I woke up just now, and I have so much light sensitivity in both eyes. I can barely even see.”
Denise, originally from Mexico, has already gone to extreme lengths for body modifications, having inked her arms and chest completely black in the past year. She later shared in multiple videos that her eye began to swell significantly, causing her to seek medical advice. “I think I should go to the ER,” she said in one of the clips. “I don’t know if I should wait it out. One second, I think it’s okay; the next second, it looks more swollen.”
After consulting with doctors at a nearby hospital, Denise was prescribed medication to reduce the swelling and told to return the next day for further testing. The doctors warned that she might need an enucleation procedure—surgical removal of the eye—if her condition worsened. “The doctor was really aggressive. He was just saying the most dramatic things, like ‘You’re going to need to get your eye removed probably,'” Denise recalled.
Despite the doctor’s warning, Denise was hesitant to return for fear that medical professionals might recommend surgery to remove her eye. “I’m just nervous to go to the hospital and then they don’t know what to do with this type of case and they’re trying to amputate my eye,” she explained in one of her updates. “I was feeling optimistic when I woke up today, but I can’t open my eye. When I use the doctor’s medication, it burns.”
Denise then sought a second opinion from an ophthalmologist as her symptoms worsened, including vomiting and visual disturbances in both eyes. Fortunately, after four days, her vision began to improve, and the swelling started to go down. “When I open [my eye], I can see, but it doesn’t stay open because it’s so swollen,” she updated her followers.
Although Denise originally planned to create a “psychedelic effect” with green and yellow tones, it seems she will now need surgery to drain the excess ink from her eye. This is just one of many extreme procedures Denise has undergone, which have cost her more than £110,000. In a 2023 post, she admitted to being “trapped in a never-ending cycle” of plastic surgery and repeatedly going under the knife to fix botched procedures.
Her rise to fame was also tied to an illegal cosmetic procedure she underwent to create “the world’s fattest vagina,” an operation that nearly killed her.
This latest incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of extreme body modifications, particularly the increasingly popular yet highly risky practice of eyeball tattooing.
