Golden Child Tattoo & Piercing Shop is now hiring an experienced lead body piercer for its renowned Escondido studio. Known for its advanced techniques and commitment to Association of Professional Piercers (APP) standards, the studio is offering a rare opportunity for a qualified professional to join its mentorship-driven team.
Applicants must meet APP safety and hygiene protocols, bring a strong portfolio of healed work, and demonstrate a readiness to take on leadership responsibilities. The position pays $35 per piercing plus tips, with weekday earnings often surpassing $300 and weekend income exceeding $500.

Golden Child’s piercing program was developed in collaboration with Zebra Piercing, widely recognized as one of the most respected piercing studios in the country. The original lead piercer at Golden Child trained under Zebra’s team and helped instill the studio’s service philosophy—from anatomy-specific placement techniques to curated jewelry styling and personalized healing guidance.
Piercers at Golden Child have access to premium implant-grade titanium and gold jewelry that meets APP standards. The studio offers bright, natural-light suites and maintains consistent, five-day-per-week bookings supported by in-house marketing. Limited relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
The current lead piercer, who is preparing to launch his own studio, will remain on-site temporarily to assist in onboarding and training the new hire, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of care.
