Stephanie McMahon Grateful She Never Got WWF Logo Tattoo

by Jessica

Speaking on a recent episode of her podcast What’s Your Story, McMahon discussed tattoo regrets and near-misses during an interview with WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio. While Mysterio, known as “Dirty Dom,” sports visible tattoos, McMahon revealed she almost joined the ranks of inked wrestlers—but stopped just short.

“When I was younger, I wanted a tattoo, and I was going to get the WWF logo,” she said. “Thank God I didn’t do that. I’d be like a walking billboard if I had all the different logos that have evolved over time. I’m tatted on the inside.”

The WWF (World Wrestling Federation) brand was WWE’s original name before a legal battle with the World Wildlife Fund forced the company to rebrand in the early 2000s. The change marked a significant shift in the company’s image, making a tattoo of the old logo potentially outdated and problematic.

McMahon, 47, stepped down as WWE co-CEO in 2023 after a brief return from leave. Her husband, WWE Hall of Famer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, now serves as Chief Content Officer. While she no longer holds an executive role in the company, McMahon continues to engage with fans through her work on ESPN+’s Stephanie’s Places and her podcast, where she shares behind-the-scenes insights and personal stories.

Though she’s largely stepped away from WWE television, McMahon remains a significant figure in the wrestling world, now exploring new roles outside the ring—and without any corporate ink.
