Former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes offered fans a rare glimpse into her life this weekend, revealing a new tattoo and showing off a fresh hairstyle in a candid TikTok video.
In the brief clip posted on May 18, Bynes shared that she recently got a Roman numeral tattoo to mark a decade-long friendship with her best friend, Dylan.
“My best friend Dylan and I have been best friends for 10 years,” Bynes explained. “And to mark our best friend anniversary, we got matching Roman numeral Xs for the number 10.”
While Bynes chose to ink the symbol on her finger, Dylan opted for a placement on his ribcage, she noted.
The video also highlighted a personal milestone for the She’s the Man actress: growing out her bangs. “I finally grew my bangs out,” she said enthusiastically. “I’m so excited right now. Oh my god, I can’t believe it.”
Bynes appeared in the video with long blonde hair, bold eye makeup, a nose piercing, and her signature heart tattoo on her face clearly visible.
She ended the clip with a warm message to viewers: “That is all. Hope everyone is having a good night.”
A Symbolic Tattoo Earlier This Year
This is not Bynes’ first foray into meaningful body art this year. In January, she debuted a snake tattoo on her thigh, once again sharing the update via TikTok. The video included both footage of the tattoo and a drawing of the original concept.
“It’s the ‘transformation’ for me,” she wrote in the caption. “snake’s represent shedding the past, and embracing who you’re becoming. A daily reminder that I can heal, grow, and start anew.”
Connecting With Fans Through OnlyFans
In April, the 39-year-old actress announced she would be joining the subscription-based platform OnlyFans. However, Bynes clarified the account would serve a non-traditional purpose: fan communication.
“I’m doing OnlyFans to chat with my fans through DMs,” she wrote in an Instagram Story, as reported by People. “I won’t be posting any sleazy content. Excited to join.”
Although she has stepped back from the public spotlight in recent years, Bynes continues to pursue creative outlets. In December 2024, she held an art show that drew positive attention from attendees.
“I had the honor of attending [Amanda Bynes’] art show and getting to know her better this past weekend,” podcaster Irving Scott shared on social media. “Her story is truly inspiring.”
