Offensive lineman Mekhi Becton has permanently etched a memory of the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX triumph onto his arm, commemorating the team’s victory over the Kansas City Chiefs with a massive tattoo.
Becton, who joined the Eagles as a free agent for the 2024 season, played a pivotal role in the team’s championship run after transitioning to right guard. The former New York Jets lineman, once considered a top prospect, described the Eagles’ title win as surreal.
“It still feels like a dream,” Becton said. “It felt like I was drafted to this city.”
The 6-foot-7 lineman, nicknamed “The Big Ticket,” embraced a fresh start in Philadelphia after his tenure with the Jets came to a close. Despite only spending one season with the Eagles, Becton’s impact was immediate and instrumental in securing the franchise’s latest Super Bowl title.
As one of the top names in the upcoming 2025 free agency class, Becton’s future remains uncertain—but his legacy in Philadelphia is now inked in more ways than one.
