Creativity takes center stage in downtown Roanoke this weekend as the third annual Tattoo Experience brings together the worlds of ink, art, and fashion in an immersive celebration of self-expression.
Hosted by La De Da Boutique, the event promises a vibrant showcase of talent featuring top tattoo artists, painters, designers, and other creators. Held at the Virginia Museum of Transportation, the experience is designed to go beyond a typical tattoo convention, offering attendees a dynamic mix of art, style, and entertainment.
“With a bigger venue comes more interactive opportunities,” said Robin Gross of La De Da Boutique. “We want this to be more of an immersive experience.”
One of the event’s highlights will be a fashion runway where artists and designers will present their one-of-a-kind creations, merging visual art and wearable design in a live spectacle.
In addition to the artistic showcases, the Tattoo Experience will feature local vendors, food trucks, and beverages provided by Parkway Brewing Company and Five Mile Mountain Distillery. An official after-party will cap off the night with live music and a DJ, rounding out what organizers describe as a “full experience.”
Tickets are $25, and advance purchase is strongly encouraged due to limited space. The event is expected to draw crowds from across the region and serve as a creative hub for both seasoned artists and curious newcomers.
