Tattoos and animal rescue will come together later this month as Valhalla Tattoo Studios partners with Rockwall Pets for a special fundraising event aimed at supporting foster pets in need.
Titled “Ink for a Paws,” the event will take place on June 28 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Valhalla Tattoo Studios, located at 6280 State Highway 276, Building A in Royse City. The shop will offer a curated selection of animal-themed tattoos, with prices ranging from $20 for simple line drawings to $300 for more intricate, detailed designs.
Fifty percent of all proceeds from the day will be donated to Rockwall Pets, a local no-kill animal rescue organization. The event will be conducted on a walk-in, first-come, first-served basis.
“Whether you’re getting inked for your pup, your cat, or just because you love animals, every tattoo helps give a second chance to a furry friend in need,” Valhalla Tattoo posted in a statement promoting the event.
Founded in 2010, Rockwall Pets has placed more than 10,000 cats and dogs in permanent homes through its network of foster volunteers. The organization also ensures each pet receives essential veterinary care, covering spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, microchipping, flea treatments, deworming, and testing for heartworm or feline leukemia.
Rockwall Pets maintains a visible presence in the community, regularly participating in local events such as the Rockwall Farmers Market on Saturdays.
The June 28 event offers a unique way for tattoo enthusiasts and animal lovers alike to make a lasting impact—on their skin and in the lives of pets seeking a forever home.
