Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell may be sidelined with a serious leg injury, but he’s still making headlines — this time for a jaw-dropping tattoo that fans are calling both gruesome and unforgettable.
While under anesthesia for surgery, Dell took the opportunity to get a full-leg tattoo featuring some of the most iconic and terrifying characters from horror films. The ink showcases villains like Scream, Chucky, Michael Myers, and more — a chilling lineup that looks straight out of a nightmare.
Dell’s latest artwork follows a freak injury sustained in a game against the Kansas City Chiefs last December, when he dislocated his left kneecap and tore all the lateral ligaments in his knee. The injury required multiple surgeries, and the 24-year-old is expected to miss the entire 2025–26 NFL season.
Despite his recent setbacks, Dell remains one of the league’s most promising young talents. A 2023 third-round pick from Alabama A&M, Dell has amassed 98 receptions for 1,376 yards and 10 touchdowns in just two seasons. His rookie year was also cut short by a broken fibula that required surgery, but when healthy, Dell has consistently impressed with his speed, route running, and big-play ability.
The horror-themed tattoo may serve as a personal statement — a symbol of Dell’s resilience in the face of adversity, and a nod to the physical and mental scars that come with a career in the NFL.
As the Texans continue to build around a strong young core, fans are hopeful that Dell’s return in 2026 will bring the same explosiveness he’s shown when on the field — now with some extra inked-up intensity.
