Woman’s Matching Tattoo with Ex Turns into Hilarious Mistake After Surprise Discovery

by Jessica

A woman’s attempt to express her love through a matching tattoo with her ex-partner has turned into a mortifying reminder after an unexpected discovery at her local store.

Lauren Mullane, an Irish woman, got a wrist tattoo reading “Siempre,” which translates to “Always” in Spanish. Initially, the tattoo seemed like a sweet gesture to symbolize the couple’s commitment. However, during a routine visit to a Lidl store, she was left stunned when she noticed the same word — “Siempre” — was also the brand name of a period pad range sold by the store.

As if the situation weren’t awkward enough, the design of the brand’s logo closely resembled the font used for Lauren’s tattoo. “POV: You get a matching tattoo with your ex and it turns out to be the Lidl period pad range logo,” she wrote in a TikTok video she shared about the incident.

Lauren lightheartedly acknowledged the embarrassing situation, joking in her video caption, “At least I have a monthly reminder now,” which resonated with viewers who found the mix-up both hilarious and relatable.
